CLAT COACHING CLASSES SYLLABUS IN VADODARA

There are 2 options in CLAT:

1. Under-Graduate Program for 5-year integrated Law Degree (Hon’s)
2. Post Graduate Program for 1-year LLM degree

Eligibility for CLAT:

1. For Under-Graduate Program: 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for qualifying exams in March/April can also apply.
2. For Post-Graduate Program: LL.B. Degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for qualifying exams in March/April can also apply.

Syllabus for CLAT:

English

Proficiency in English based on Comprehension passages and grammar, meaning of words used, correction of sentences, fill in the blanks with appropriate words, etc.

General Knowledge

Knowledge of National and International current events and static general knowledge.

Mathematics

Matriculation level (10th Standard) i.e. Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Statistics.

Legal Aptitude

Interest in Law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions like legal propositions (described in the paper) with given set of facts to which the proposition is applied. Candidate has to understand the proposition and apply them to given situation then answer the given questions.

Logical Reasoning

To test pattern recognition, logical links and ability to rectify illogical arguments. Questions may include Syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc. No visual questions will be asked.

Selection will be based on merit list and preference of candidate
